Senior Human Resources Business Partner

You will partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists to develop hiring strategies to identify and select candidates with the skills and passion to contribute to our vision of delivering innovative chemical solutions for a cleaner, healthier, more energy efficient world.? You will?provide guidance and deliver resources to assist employees and leaders with on boarding, goal setting, performance management, development,?succession and workforce planning.? You will champion our culture and share methods to strengthen its application in everyday activities.? You will generate insights through quantitative and qualitative feedback methods in order to recommend strategies and tactics that will accelerate progress toward individual and collective goals.?
Stepan Company is a global manufacturer of specialty chemicals headquartered in Northfield, Illinois United States and located throughout North and South America, Europe and Asia.

  • Bachelors Degree?is required with?at least 5 years of?HR Business Partner?experience.

  • Knowledge of applicable federal and?state (IL) employment regulations required.

  • Ability?to commute to Joliet, IL?1 day?per week required.

  • Personal passion for continuous learning?required.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical?and leadership teams preferred.?

  • Knowledge of SAP, Oracle/Taleo a plus.

  • Prior experience collaborating with global team a plus.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
