Medical Technologist Customer Service

A leading client located in Northfield, IL is seeking candidates to fill an immediate, Direct Hire, Medical Technologist Customer Service Representative position.

The Medical Technologist Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing technical expertise and customer support by handling up to 900 escalated technical inquiries per month from program participants and staff from other departments within the organization

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily assistance to the Customer Contact Center for numerous products they use on a daily basis

  • Ensure an accurate and timely response to escalated participant questions via phone and email

  • Serve as a resource for technical information and the front line technical resource for the Code Blue process and laboratory accident calls

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • At least 3-5 years of Technical Customer Service experience required; Experience within a full service medical laboratory highly desired

  • MT (ASCP) certification required

  • Must be comfortable with navigating through multiple computer applications

Salary/Benefits:

-$65,000 - $75,000 per year

-Direct Hire - 33-40 hours/week

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
