Job Summary
The Operations Data Specialist I is responsible for efficient processing of data for the CAP laboratory improvement programs to produce participant summaries and evaluations.
Core Job Responsibilities
Monitoring all facets of data review and interpretation; entering statistical parameters and grading criteria in SCORES.
The accuracy of Surveys output while maintaining a commitment to continuous improvements in turnaround time, accuracy, and customer service.
Working under general supervision with some evaluation, originality, and/or ingenuity.
Using comprehensive decision making skills and diverse procedures on a daily basis.
Applying some independent judgment in primary job functions.
Serving as a resource for the SCORES operating platform.
Qualifications for this role
Able to prioritize and multi-task many projects simultaneously.
Able to perform independently.
Basic knowledge of statistics preferred.
Detail oriented with strong organizational and decision making skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Positive attitude/team player.
College degree or equivalent, with focus on computer and data management skills preferred
1-2 years experience in a professional office environment desirable.
Experienced in Microsoft Windows required:
Advanced Microsoft Word.
Advanced Microsoft Excel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
