BI-Data Architect / Modeler

This individual will work closely with senior members of the Business Intelligence team as well as the manager to define, document, and apply business rules to enterprise data. Will be responsible for defining business data requirements and creating logical and physical data models. Will also assist as needed in the design and development of ETL standards, policies, procedures, and metadata to ensure accuracy, quality, integrity, and optimization of this information. Responsibilities include: Create/maintain the Enterprise Business Intelligence data architecture to increase the robustness, performance, and scalability of systems. Responsible for the development of logical data models and physical data base designs applied across multiple environments. Assist development team in the design of new BI solutions. Work with product owner and business users to understand and translate user stories and/or requirements into data models, analytics reports and scenario models. Provide architectural solutions covering data structures, sourcing, integration, security, and retention. Involved in BI data roadmap, current / target state for enterprise data. Ensure optimal end user performance by establishing and consistently executing overall system performance assessment processes and associated action plans. Lead technology review meetings and ensure appropriate governance processes are followed. Ensure necessary metadata repositories are developed for all initiatives and ensure these meet current needs and provide flexibility for future growth. Define governance and best practices around meta-data to ensure an integrated definition of data for enterprise information, and to ensure the accuracy, validity, reusability, and consistent definitions for common reference data. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field; or equivalent work experience Minimum 4 years in consulting or similar analyst position implementing DWs and Data Marts Proven experience with ETL tool either Talend, SSIS, Informatica or DataStage Excellent knowledge of SQL for performing data analysis and performance tuning SAP native HANA modeling experience Composite / Cisco Information Services experience preferred Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio) software Excellent communication, and data analysis skills Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team - provided by Dice

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
