Job Summary
The CAP Foundation Donor Relations Associate executes and manages the day to day stewardship operations between the CAP Foundation and Donors. The goal for this position is to retain and upgrade current foundation donors while attracting new ones. This position will utilize Raisers Edge to record actions and interactions to create a constant dialogue between donors and the foundation.
Core Job Responsibilities
Create, manage and maintain a steady flow of communications for donor fundraising and stewardship to convey gratitude and impact.
Deliver content and partner with CAP Communications to implement stewardship messages.
Manage the vendor and exhibitor appeals using Raisers Edge to extract, import, and report data and conduct mailings.
Enter and receipt donations as needed.

Database proficiency
Bachelor?s degree
Experience in nonprofit or membership is preferred.
Raisers Edge is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite including Excel
Travel Requirements
Occasional travel including weekends (up to 4 times per year) to board meetings, donor meetings, Foundation programs (including See, Test & Treat), events, and the CAP annual meeting.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
