Director, Privacy Operations

JOB SUMMARYThe Director of Privacy Operations is a critical global role, reporting to the Chief Privacy Officer.
This leader will oversee the enhancement of certain operational elements of Medline's global privacy program across all jurisdictions in which Medline operates.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Guide business and technology solutions to ensure products and services meet Medline's data privacy promises and legal requirements.
Responsible for evaluating opportunities to improve business processes outside of the Global Privacy Office and supporting the incorporation of privacy by design into those processes.
Drive the on-going buildout of a strategic and consistent privacy program that supports the enterprise wide development, maintenance, and monitoring of policies, procedures, and processes and effective privacy practices to minimize risk and ensure the protection of personal data.
Manage the daily operations of the global program, support monitoring, and assist with the investigation and tracking of personal data incidents and breaches.
Develop organizational privacy policies, standards, and guidelines, where determined to be lacking.
Assess and revise inquiry/incident/complaint handling processes (internal and external).
Drive awareness and training for certain operational elements of a global privacy program.
Develop deep understanding of NIST Privacy Framework in order to support its adoption at Medline.
Drive oversight and operation of privacy risk assessment process and related tools.
Qualifications :

Education Bachelor's Degree.
Certification / Licensure None required.
Work Experience At least 7 - 10 years of experience in privacy or privacy-related roles, with at least two (2) years of leadership experience.
Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable and preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Experience developing pragmatic strategy and tactics for complex, high profile matters.
Experience providing guidance to senior executives and other senior leaders.
Experience diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
Experience working with cross-functional teams and facilitating teams to identify and implement solutions to complex problems.
Experience using time management skills such as prioritizing/organizing and tracking details and meeting deadlines of multiple projects with varying completion dates.
PREFERRED JOB REQUIREMENTS IAPP certification desired - ideally CIPM but CIPP and CIPT also desirable.
Salary:
$27 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
